Forever Memories Poetic Heart Expressions
When it comes to communicating our feeling it is not easy for most of us. Some try to do it with deeds. Others try to do it with gifts.
I tend to do it with poetry.
This book was really written many years ago when my relationship with my wife was developing. So the book is full of poems I wrote and sent in letters to her at that time. I recently went through all the letters I wrote and retrieved the poems and compiled them in this book.
They are compiled in sections. The first ones are about my relationship to my Savior.
The second section contains poems about my friends and what I was encountering.
In the third section are the poems written to the love of my life before we got married.
The fourth is a poem I wrote to my wife for our 25th wedding anniversary.
Through these poems I am sure you will get a window into my heart and my life. I must say that even though these poems were written many years ago they are still an accurate reflection of my heart.
The window you get is wide open. I have included every poem I wrote and have held nothing back.
May your heart be open to these feeble efforts on my part to express my love and may your heart say yes to what you read. Yes to a Savior and yes to the one you love.

He truly loves God and wants the world to know it, not only by shouting it from the pulpit, but also by putting them in print for the world to read.He loves his friends and prays for them in a loving way.
The writer opened his heart to the girl who became his girl and said `Yes' and became his wife. A love so strong that distance could not weaken. On the contrary, it strengthened.
There is so much to learn from this book.

This is truly a book about the love of God for each of us. The author pours out his heart to one and all in this clearly written book of poems about himself, his God and his love for his wife.
My favorite poem is, Love Of The Creator. It's deep, personal and lovely words of loving God is pure, heart-felt poetry. David isn't afraid of letting others know his personal beliefs, his love of the world and his love of all that is. His poem to his wife on their 25h Anniversary says it all.
Such a lovely book filled to the brim with God's love of David and how we can all be awakened to our inner Divine selves.
This easy to read, sensitive collection of poems is partially a biography of the author, partially a tribute to God and his creation, and partially an atonement for the sins of man. Very powerful concepts portrayed in short, sweet and simple poems. This book makes a wonderful gift, especially on significant holidays when we are called on to reflect upon the frailties of humanity.
Forever memories Poetic Heart Expressions by David McIntosh is truly a journey into the author's soul. His lovely use of poetic phrasing and openly shared introspection warmed my own heart. His love for God and acknowledgment of God's love for him all poured forth through his written words. His prose, often like prayers, often expressed the understanding that throughout his challenges he never faltered in knowing that there was indeed a Divine Plan. His writings for the love of his life, Trudy, touched me very deeply and I felt myself smiling and so delighted be sharing the memories of their true love and their years of growing together even though they were continents apart. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading thoughts written from the heart and soul. I've read it more than once and will continue to read passages from it for my own introspection.
